Deep Hole "Gun" Drilling

Our Gun Drilling department gives us the ability to drill very close tolerance, straight holes with excellent surface finish, through long parts. Used in conjunction with our CNC machining process, gun drilling parts where holes are deeper than the practical range of ordinary drills, gives us an advantage over our competitors.

Originally developed for the gun industry to drill long holes thru rifle barrels, gun drilling has many applications for long parts in the medical, automotive and aerospace industries.

  • We can gun drill holes from 1/8″ to 3/4” Diameter
  • We can gun drill lengths up to 12”
  • Blind holes as well as thru holes
  • Close tolerances & excellent surface finishes
